CODEBA maintains a solid and ongoing policy of institutional relations with the Government of the State of Bahia, Federation of Industries of the State of Bahia (FIEB), Commercial Association of Bahia (ACB), Command of the 2nd Naval District, municipalities, companies, and other entities with the aim of promoting the economic and social development of the state through cargo movement in the ports it administers.
CODEBA is a club partner member in Brazil of the GRI Club Infra and is currently affiliated with international sector associations such as the American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA) and the World Association for Waterborne Transport Infrastructure (PIANC). The company is also affiliated with the Brazilian Association of Port and Waterway Entities (ABEPH).
CODEBA has implemented a plan for active cargo and passenger seeking, including participation in prominent national and international events. The company understands that increased activity in the three ports under its administration strengthens the economy of Bahia, generating more wealth and opportunities for Bahians.
Following this action line, CODEBA directors participated in 2024 in the 92nd edition of the Brazilian Mining Day in Toronto, during the annual convention of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada, and in Intermodal, the largest logistics, cargo transportation, and foreign trade event in the Americas. The company is always present at other meetings, such as Nordeste Export and Exporlog.
In the tourism sector, CODEBA was represented at Seatrade Cruise Global, the world's largest cruise industry fair. Additionally, it participated for the first time in the Bahia Farm Show, the largest agricultural technology and business fair in the North and Northeast of Brazil.
